Comet 46-P/Wirtanen & Geminid Meteors| Matthew Moses Photography

In late December a comet designated Comet 46-P/Wirtanen became bright enough for viewing with binocular or with naked eyes under really dark skies. It also happened to correspond with the peak of the annual Geminid Meteor Shower. I spent several hours in Western Wisconsin away from the lights of Duluth/Superior capturing the comet and enjoying the flash of meteors.
