Orion Nebula and Andromeda Galaxy

During warmer temperatures and clear skies in late December I spent time under the night sky with the Sky Watch Star Adventurer tracking mount. Utilizing this mount, my Nikon camera, and a 200mm lens I shot numerous exposures of the Orion Nebula and Andromeda Galaxy. Later back on the computer I stacked the many light and dark frames within AstroPixelProcessor to get these two finished photos you see below.

Within the Orion constellation the Orion (M42) and Horsehead nebulas are visible. (27 light frames and 15 dark frames were processed for this photo)
The Andromeda Galaxy (M31) – (20 light frames and 15 dark frames were processed for this photo)
